The Concept

 

As part of my restorations I tend to draw a concept picture, this one based on a recently completed Caulfield Jag Service S-type.

I then make a list of the items that I would like to include, refining this list as I investigate the feasibility and cost of some of my wish list.

An example of this is I originally wanted to use a current V8 which proved to be economically unfeasible so a 4.2 XK six will be used instead.

  • Dark green metallic with tan trim
All with the aim to do these so that they didn't change the style or feel of the original car and enhanced rather than detracted from it.
