The House, now I just need to renovate it...

Then I started research into a home that I could afford with the initial plan being to build a livable shed and later a home, this was thwarted by the council wanting me to have a home organised before I started the shed! So I came up with a new plan!

So while watching getaway one week I saw them visit a B&B created from an old railway signal box. Browsing the Trading Post website I came across a 1910 Country Red Rattler and cutting a long story short, bought it. Then after some consultation with the council I was allowed to place it on the block (easier to say than do) so we dug some holes (got to love helpful friends), poured some foundations and had a transport company move the train.

Then whilst gaining approval for all the works on the block I came across a Californian Bungalow like I had always wanted and so I bought that too to add to the project. With full approval obtained this too was moved to the block. Now, finally I was able to build my shed!

The pages here show the progress, sometimes quick, sometimes not so, but very rewarding and very soon I will be able to live there full time whilst I work on it and complete it.....
